The Every Frame A Pause podcast, abbreviated as EFAP, is a podcast on YouTube hosted by MauLer, Rags, and as of EFAP 136, Fringy. Up until EFAP 65, it was also hosted by Wolf. The podcast is largely centered around discussions of film and media criticism, responses to videos relating to those subjects as well as community specific memes.
EFAP has had a large variety of guests who make critical thinking analyses of movies, video games, and other media. (see list of guests)
History[]
By MauLer's own words, The Last Jedi and videos made by Jared, Tonald and Patrick Willems made EFAP happen.
EFAP evolved from Wolf's podcast, and many elements (such as covering Tonald) carried over between shows. The podcast was originally unnamed before "Every Frame a Pause" was suggested by the audience.
Mauler and Wolf became friends after Mauler insulted Wolf's Thor: Ragnarok video and two had an discussion of the movie. Strangely enough, both of then knew Rags beforehand and asked him to join to form the podcast.
The show has gone on for over two years and over 180 episodes, celebrating their anniversary once every 50 episodes.

EFAP includes the main podcast (red), EFAP Gaming (orange), EFAP Movies (blue), and EFAP Minis (green), which includes the Batwoman series. EFAP 50 was gold and EFAP 100 was an Avengers: Endgame-style purple. EFAP TV, watching The Last of Us television series, is also purple-themed, called by some in the chat a "grape-fap."
The show is sponsored by Punto and Trungo's (don't call them for memes).

Jay is the manager of the show and MauLer had to pitch the concept to him in order to get all the facilities and equipment required to create the podcast, as creating a such a thing costs thousands of dollars.
Hassim (Rags' Arabic relative), and sometimes Wolf, act as the EFAP tech support.

Accusations[]
EFAP has been accused of being cruel and mean to video creators, and for only leeching off other channels, of only inviting people whom they agree with, of thinking that a main character can't be anyone but straight white male, of being like surgery with butcher knife, of being demons for not liking The Last Jedi, and of fucking up by showing the full videos they cover rather than strawmanning the opposition by cutting the content.
